Impact4Publish
The AI writes the text. The software sets it like a designer. And the two stay separate.
What it is
Impact4Publish turns text and images into publications – magazines, artists' books, exhibition catalogues. The software reads content semantically and gives title, lead, section, quote and ending each their own typographic behaviour, all the way to a print-ready PDF.
The spark
Classic typesetting programs treat every paragraph the same. Editorial publications work differently: a lead needs a different presence than body text, a quote a different dynamic, a change of section a different rhythm.
The idea: the structure arises during writing, and the design follows from it – without building every page by hand.
What was built with AI
Built with AI:
- a briefing from the software that sets length, structure and amount of text – for ChatGPT or another language model
- structured text back via the clipboard, analysed immediately and visible in the preview
- images from a folder, automatically distributed at anchor points and stored content-addressed
- a two-stage layout system of cell grid and flow pagination, with density levels and typographic systems
- export as a print-ready PDF in free formats, with bleed
What only experience decides
The most important decision is stated in one sentence of the product: the AI concentrates on language and structure, the software takes over the editorial composition. No API, no cloud – the clipboard is enough.
And the automatic composition can always be overridden. Automation is meant to support editorial work, not replace it.

What a company gains
Reports, catalogues, product data sheets, quotations, documentation: wherever content regularly has to go into designed documents, the same pattern saves the manual work – and keeps text and design cleanly apart.
